The MIRA RESOLUTION TO POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION AWARENESS
MIRA Postpartum depression and related mental health conditions disproportionally affect mothers from marginalized communities due to heightened stressors such as economic instability, limited social support, and systemic inequities in healthcare access.
We Provide:
LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION: Workshops on Parenting, financial literacy, time management and conflict resolution.
CRISIS MANAGEMENT SUPPORT: Referrals to Individualized counseling and peer support groups
FOOD ASSISTANCE: Nutritious food access ensures that both mother and child have basic food needs met.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPACT focuses on underserved communities where poverty, gender, racial inequities exacerbate health and education.
